What are the four Gospel Books?

The concept here is identifying which books in the New Testament are the four Gospels. The four Gospel Books are Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. They are four separate accounts that tell about Jesus’ life, teaching, death, and resurrection from different perspectives and for different audiences, yet together form the foundational narratives of Jesus’ proclamation. The other options mix in books that aren’t gospels: Acts is a historical account of the early church after Jesus’ ascension, Romans and Corinthians are letters written by Paul to Christian communities, and Revelation is an apocalyptic prophecy. Because they’re not the four Gospel narratives, they don’t fit as the set of the four Gospels.
